Yes, a script is needed which is good for a year. Evaluation does not require a script. Additionally, if your child requires NMES, a clearance will be needed for that. A letter to the MD will be provided.
Yes, four decades of research have indicated that it is safe for children. Children below two years of age have been included in clinical studies for NMES. I have also worked with babies and toddlers using the NMES with a MD clearance.

Yes. You will need to buy the unit. The therapist can give you a home program. It is essential that you follow your home program with or without the unit, as repetition matters to the brain and body for progress.
