Jovial Lewis, PT, MPT, PCS, is an APTA board-certified Pediatric Physical Therapist. She completed her Bachelor of Physical Therapy (BPT) course at Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal, India, in 1999. She has prior worked as a lecturer, clinician and clinical instructor for five years at various Physical Therapy colleges in India. She completed her Master of Physical Therapy (MPT), Neurosciences, in 2001 at Manipal College of Allied Health Sciences (MCOAHS), Manipal, India. She relocated to New York City and has been a full-time clinician since 2005. She worked as a full-time PT and part-time PT at various pediatric setups like Pre-schools, a centre-based sensory gym before switching to full-time home care pediatric PT. She worked with St Mary’s Children’s Hospital, Bayside, NY, for their Home Care Program with medically fragile children of all ages, for 15 years. She has also been working with various Early Intervention agencies (ages 0-36 months) since 2006 and continues to do the same.
